Born to Persevere

Loyal 24k’s journey began in 1987 when he was born deaf in his left ear. While this could have been a barrier for many, Loyal discovered his passion for music at just five years old. In 1992, he sat down at a keyboard and found that he could hear music clearly—a revelation that would shape his life.

Early Steps into Music

By 1999, Loyal was writing and performing music on the road with his uncle, immersing himself in the art and hustle of live performance. His talent for production emerged in 2004, when he began creating beats for his uncle. This hands-on experience laid the foundation for his evolution as an artist and producer.

Building and Rebuilding

In 2007, Loyal formed his own rap group, The Franchise. The group had promise, but they disbanded in 2010. Shortly after, Loyal signed a management deal with Angela Richardson, CEO of Tha Nodd Factor Records, a label that also represented St. Louis artist Huey. While the deal brought hope, it ultimately didn’t lead to the career breakthrough Loyal sought.

Finding His Voice as a Creator

Loyal’s journey took a pivotal turn in 2013 when he crossed paths with producer Excel Beats (now Brian Whittaker). Loyal became one of Excel’s writers, collaborating on music for legendary figures like Dr. Dre. His role also extended to managing social media accounts for industry and local artists, showcasing his versatility and adaptability.

Setbacks and New Beginnings

Even as Loyal worked tirelessly on his craft, personal struggles loomed. In 2015, he faced a near-fatal overdose and was hospitalized in Riverside, California. Determined to turn his life around, he relocated to Las Vegas in 2016, seeking happiness and a fresh start for his music career.

Las Vegas proved to be a city of opportunity for Loyal. By 2017, he was performing at local events and hosting WBKE Radio, an internet station that bolstered his reputation. The following year, he began releasing music independently on YouTube, steadily building an audience.

Making an Impact

Between 2018 and 2019, Loyal’s music gained traction. His YouTube channel accumulated over 500 subscribers and more than 200,000 views, a testament to his growing fan base and hard work.

In 2024, Loyal 24k achieved a significant milestone with the release of his single "Real Big". The accompanying music video garnered over 16,000 views within five days of its release, demonstrating the powerful connection he has built with his audience.
